We all feel it, we all know it—fear. Fear is one of those almost “so common place” emotions that sometimes we don't recognize it for what it is, and it lurks inside of us, unknowingly holding us back. Plus, let's face it, there is so much in the world today that can make us afraid. We have these two parts of ourselves that often struggle (both residing in our brain) we have our “rational” or survival brain that feeds off negative emotion and warnings to keep us safe and then of course our spirit/emotional brain that is older than the stars. One wants to keep us on the ground safe and warm, free from hurt, danger or failure. The other wants us to live up to our true potential and soar among all the amazing gifts this life has to offer us, reminding us of who we really are. It's the journey of this life to reconcile them, or at least try to make them play nice together. Often times it may feel like we've got “little monsters” in our head keeping us from what we want to do or the freedoms we crave for—they are mischievous little urchins at times! This month we're going to “play” and try to make friends with our little monsters, turning them over to the light (or kick them out entirely)! This workshop, while meant to help you discover all these pesky critters in your head, should be taken lightly. Have fun with it**, but always be honest with yourself. Gently, ever gently keep moving forward—on your way to your true potential.
