Exciting Updates to My Terms of Use! November 03 2016, 0 Comments

I'm excited to announce that my products once again come with a PROFESSIONAL ARTIST USE license. It's similar to an angel's use license.

You can always see the most updated version of our TOU [here].

PROFESSIONAL ARTIST USE (UPDATED 11/29/2016)
Similar to an angel's use license.

What you can do:

  • Scrap for others or for hire (you may make invitations or layouts as long as the images are FLATTENED on delivery)
  • You may use them on your own blog as long as the resolution is 72 DPI
  • You may make handcrafted originals to sell as long as you have created an original painting or card for sale with your hands
  • Create prints/canvases of digital paintings that contain some of my items as a supporting role to your own original artwork (less than 30% should be my work)

What you cannot do:

  • You CANNOT make printed cards, pillows, mugs, keychains, magnets or other mass produced looking items for resale in any way
  • You CANNOT make collage sheets with my images
  • You CANNOT use my images to create websites for others without paying an additional fee, please email me for details
  • You CANNOT use this license to create work for "on demand" sites like Society6, Redbubble or Cafe Press. The only exception for this is ArtBoja.com for Sebastian Michaels's students.

---------------

Are you a member of Sebastian Michaels's courses? Any content that was given to you through your membership in those classes is for Commercial Use (see below). You may use for commercial or professional use projects as long as the original art is not redistributed as is, and less than 30% of the finished piece includes my artwork.

---------------

Some products come with a COMMERCIAL USE LICENSE
(these products will be clearly marked "CU" in the store)
Also applies to products given to students of Sebastian Michaels' courses

What you can do:

  • Make digital or tangible products to sell as long as you do not redistribute the original files in any way (they must be incorporated into your own work and altered/changed in some way). Less than 30% of the finished product should include my resources.
  • Incorporate them into your own original artwork to make items for sale on Redbubble and Society6

What you cannot do:

  • You CANNOT use them to make other commercial use products to sell or give away to others
